a little life update: meet evera ♡

I've spent the last several years building a career around fashion, beauty, and sharing little pieces of my life online. What started with modeling eventually turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined. I realized how much I love the creative side of this industry. Not just putting together outfits or taking photos, but coming up with ideas, working with brands, and watching something grow from the very beginning.
Which brings me to a little life update I've been wanting to share.
I've officially joined the founding team of Evera.
If you haven't heard of Evera yet, it's a virtual try-on app that allows you to see how clothing looks on you before purchasing it.
Basically, imagine scrolling through Instagram, seeing an outfit you love, and being able to try it on virtually instead of just wondering whether it would look the same on you.
And as someone who has spent years working in fashion, I think it's such an interesting step toward making online shopping more curated.
from in front of the camera to behind the scenes
One thing I've learned throughout my career is that I genuinely enjoy building things.
I love the creative process. I love bringing ideas to life. And I especially love being involved in something from the beginning, when there's still so much room to experiment, learn, and grow.
Joining Evera has given me the opportunity to explore a different side of an industry I've been part of for years.
I'll be helping with creative direction, social media, content, and building relationships with creators and brands.
It's a lot of moving pieces, but that's also what makes it exciting.
And don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. I'll still be sharing all of my usual fashion, beauty, travel, and everyday life content. This is just another part of my world that I'm excited to bring you into.
why evera?
I've worked with so many fashion and beauty brands over the years, and I've seen firsthand how much influence social media has on the way we shop.
But there's always been one missing piece where seeing something on someone else doesn't necessarily tell you how it's going to look on you.
We're all different. Different proportions, different personal styles, different ways of wearing the same pieces.
I love the idea of technology making fashion feel a little more accessible and personal rather than making everyone look the same!
And that's what initially interested me in Evera.
finding your colors
One feature I'm especially excited about is Evera's new personal color palette feature, which was actually an idea I brought to the team!
If you know me, you know I love wearing pastels. Evera helped me discover that my personal color palette is Soft Summer, so it turns out I've been gravitating toward some of my most flattering shades all along! But figuring out which colors actually complement your skin tone isn't always easy.
Now, Evera can help you discover your personal color palette, taking some of the guesswork out of shopping and getting dressed.
I wanted to bring this feature to life because I know how overwhelming it can be to figure out what looks best on you, especially when there are so many different shades and trends to choose from.
It's been really exciting to see one of my own ideas become part of the app, and I can't wait for you to try it!
something new
I don't think you ever really stop figuring out what you want to do.
Even when you've built a career you're proud of, there's always room to try something different.
While I've spent most of my adult life in front of a camera, I'm realizing how much I enjoy being on the other side of it, too.
And of course, I'll be taking you along with me.
If you're curious, you can download Evera here and try it for yourself.
I'd love to hear what you think.
